July 2025 - Zero to a Hundred

I've been doing a lot of blogs for several months now, that have been a lot. So I'm gonna go back to quicker reads for you all.

Mugen

Absolutely nothing. I've had zero Mugen time for a couple reasons.

I recreated Raven's voice. So I can start making the videos again when I get more time.

Twitch

A shit ton. I've made the thumbnails for my character that is never actually seen on my channel, for now, but is who I use for my emotes. I also made a couple new emotes for myself and one for a friend. They're mostly one frame png's, and I needed them cuz my existing ones weren't that great. When I made these originally, I was only concentrated on animated emotes. But there's a limit to how many I can have unless I get so and so amount of subs on Twitch. I did make a few more animated ones anyway. One where my character is doing the cabbage patch dance, one where he's punching the screen, and one where he's braving through a snowy blizzard.

Chat Avatars

Chat Avatars is gonna be renamed soon because people confuse it with stream avatars. However I finally fixed a major issue that's been a thorn in my side for about a year now. The app is constantly refreshed by OBS. No matter what you tell it, OBS will refresh it. Now however, the avatars stay on the screen and never leave unless I say so. That means I can put any image or any action on my Twitch, whenever I want. Think of the possibilities, especially if I combine it with channel point redemptions. And yes, I found a workaround for that too.

General

I took a week vacation from work, specifically to work on my channel and fix things. So I didn't have time for Mugen, because I can work on Mugen at any point when I have less pressing matters. The good news is, only about 10 people read my blog for last month, which means a lot of you aren't holding your breath, and I think we all noticed Mugen is having a big down note right now. It's not dead, it's asleep. It'll wake up again. It always does.

August

I'm going to develop Chat Avatars into fully fledged RPG where you can unlock new avatars, weapons, abilities, accessories, pets, all that stuff. The idea is to get popular enough to that I can become a successful streamer, because that means more time to work on digital content like Mugen. That's the dream a lot of streamers have so I never went for it. Cuz what are the odds right? On the other hand, I'm doing pretty well for a streamer and I do offer some unique content, so I thought, fuck it why not? You never know unless you try. Come by my Twitch channel and follow me.
