When I first started making mugen characters, it had been a tradition of mine to release one character a year in October. Well that worked for the first 3 characters I made, Alucard, Raven and Auron anyway. Now that October is over, it's official that I'm not releasing one in 2024. I mean... I COULD release one in November or December but that's part of my special project, and I want it to be announced with it. I'm actually surprised I haven't spoiled it or opened my mouth too much on it already. That's not like me since I don't often shut up over my own art projects, but, hurray.
In contrast to the last few months where hardly any work was done on my end for Mugen, September, and especially October, was nothing but Mugen for me. I felt like most of the year was concentrated on my Twitch channel, a lot of difficult life problems I was dragged into and honestly, I feel like I'm right back where I started. So I said screw it, I'm working on Mugen, cuz I can't get anything else done anyway. In fact the more that I work on Mugen, the more I want to do other things for Mugen. I've decided to make either a section on this site, or a new site entirely, that provides quick, well constructed Mugen tutorials for anyone interested in getting into Mugen development. That's not my secret project by the way. It's just something else I want to do.
As for my secret project however, I hit a big milestone on it. It's difficult writing about it when I haven't even announced what it is yet. But I want it to be pretty eventful, and I plan to make it that. The cost of that however, is time. And time is very, very expensive. There's about 5 or 6 different phases (depending on how you look at it) before I announce my project, and the last one should the most extensive. Now that phase one is over, phase 2 should be more simple, not AS lengthy, but still something to flex for before tackling. Finally though, I'm ready for it.
