The all new Tutorial section has arrived!!! The videos are clear, simple, and more importantly, all under 3 minutes, consisting of only of 5 videos. More videos will upload monthly, but for now, phase 1 is complete. If you're making a character, you can skip Phase 1 if you want, but the character will suffer if you're a new developer. It's mostly about project-killing mistakes to avoid before you start making your fighter. Raven of from Teen Titans narrated the videos. I made her voice years ago by combining voice samples of her with an A.I. I just never used it until now. The Tutorial Section replaced the Contact Me thread by the way. I post my contact links at the end of these journal entries now, so it was just a placeholder at this point. Other stuff also just renamed to extra stuff.

Mugen

Robin's reception turned out pretty well. Fans of my Raven, and straight up Robin fans, were excited to finally see him. On SpriteClub he reached tier 4 with the AI fights, then lost to a tier 4 Batman (How cannon-like..). A few days before February ended, I updated his A.I., one of his specials, and released his latest version here, as well as the other sites. His abilities either get stronger or upgraded into a new form when filling his power bar. For his level 1 birdarang attack (birdarang boomerang), I tweaked it from almost useless... to pretty sick. It's now a good special for filling the power bar, and won't disappear after one hit. As for my next Mugen Fighter, it's already in development. I'd say it's about 12% done. Twitch

One of the fun things I like to do on Twitch every now and then is take song lyrics that my Discord members write and submit, here, and feed it to Suno AI, which sings the lyrics and generates the music. I also let the writers or chat choose the music genres and we see what it comes up with. Since I'm subscribed to Suno, I get thousands of points each month to play with.

During my "vacation" time from Twitch, I still had some small things that would take about about a day to complete on my 'to do' list, so I knocked those out. I made a couple of new emotes that turned out really well, and I made my first point redemption reward, for when I unlock affiliate rank on Twitch. I have cooler point redemptions planned, but, hey that's one down.

Plans for March

Phase 2 of the new tutorial series is next, focused on achieving that very first sprite I call, the prime sprite. The prime sprite is the sprite that all future sprites and animations stem from, so getting it as perfect as you can is of the highest importance. I've also been working on this really long animation for Twitch, but didn't see much progression in February. It's important to have it since it helps tie in a character I want included with my channel and website. Twitch streaming with return on March 1st. I have more plans for the year, and beyond for this website, Mugen and Twitch. Those will gradually roll out as more planned projects roll in for pre-production.

Emergency

I only mention this because it drastically affected content creation, and easily encompasses my whole experience of February... We had a squatter that wouldn't leave, and we couldn't get rid of him until the end of the month because he falsely claimed California's squatter rights, which the cops just took his word over. Why do squatters even have rights???? He and his dogs absolutely trashed the place, set the house on fire, and even tried throwing garbage out by shoving it down the toilet of my private bathroom. There was dog feces smeared everywhere in the carpets, and everything was drenched in dog urine. At least I THINK it was only dog urine. I carried a taser on me everywhere I went and locked everything up. That didn't matter much because he had training as a lock-smith though. He got kicked out, but was let back in a second time by my now ex-housemate, who then gave the squatter my personal phone number. He instantly sent me assault-threatening texts, which apparently didn't matter to the police. My personal history btw is squeaky clean.

When he was right in front of me, he hid away like a cornered rat. Someone else visiting the house ended up throwing him to the ground when he tried to push into the room when he was being kicked out again, but the visitor was detained for battery, who happened to have a warrant for his arrest, and the squatter remained free. The gutless coward is now gone, once I personally took matters into my own hands. I'm still looking for my own place to live, to avoid any more dangerous housemates and their "friends".

Thank you God and Jesus for getting rid of those parasites. I was praying a lot this month. If I find a new place in March, future plans will have to be delayed until I'm set up at my new place. I don't like to end things on a down note, but I know March is going to be better since all those bringers of chaos are out of the building, while I look for my own home.
