Roster is 75% done

I'm beginning to run out of characters to add to the roster, without double dipping into franchises I've tackled before. Since I'm still under the amount of slots I required for myself, I can't revisit franchises to do other characters that I also want. I suppose that's to be expected, and at times I get tired of making a new character from scratch. That was the point with doing all these characters; I didn't want to start from nothing every single time I began a new character. It's a good way to have something to go off of already.

After I hit the total number of fighters I want to add to the roster (32 for a tournament), I'll do a minimum of 6 bonus characters, which allows me to break the one character per franchise rule. There's only one character that sort of already breaks it (Red Sonja) but she is originally Dark Horse Comics, and started from Conan, which is owned by DC now I believe. Red Sonja is Marvel now, but I count her as my Dark Horse rep.

It's unrealistic to believe I'll actually complete all of these characters, or even a quarter of them. I've been working on this since January and it's now August 1st. But I'm happy to have made a successful Demona. I originally abandoned her since there are no solid references of her with a dynamic stance, other than a chibi figurine of her kneeling, which wasn't much help. But I just felt like trying again and hey, it worked out. As of now, the only character that is playable is Alucard. I worked on him during the covid quarantine, so I had a lot more time back then. Still, it took forever. I remember spending an entire day on one sprite sometimes.
