Robin from Teen Titans, Released.

Mugen

On my Youtube Community tab, I said that if I reached 55 followers on Twitch, I'd release Robin. Despite the skepticism of getting that far so quickly, the channel surpassed that number. Moreover, just a week before releasing Robin, I beefed him up a ton by drawing more animations, specials, and even a new hyper. I consider this to be Robin 2.0, despite never releasing 1.0. He's now available on the homepage.

Robin's specials include his smoke pellets, ice discs, combustion discs, birdarangs, mines and even his rocket boots. His gadgets are adaptable, and each special is enhanced as the power bar is filled. His first hyper uses his motorcycle, which works differently than Lara Croft's Yamaha hyper. His second hyper features his birdarang sword. He used it in one episode against a giant dragon disguised as a mummy that catfished Raven lol. The hyper ends with that infamous knee drop he used in Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo. Midway through his standard combo, he alternates from brawling to his traditional fighting staff.

On the last week of January I was introduced to A.I. music, where you can pick any mixture of genres, the male or female voice, and the option to write whatever lyrics the A.I. sings. If you've been reading my blog each month, you'll remember that dumb song, 'The Poopy Dance,' I put in one of the more recent entries. Well guess what set of verses made a huge return in the form of a rock, metal song A.I. put together for me? And guess which song I picked for Robin's debut trailer? Now, this song, is FIRE, and Robin brings it in the trailer. You can watch Robin's video trailer here as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXTNKtDPuJk

Twitch

For those that followed me on Twitch after reading my last journal entry, thank you all SO much! It means the world! At the start of the year I was at 42 followers, and now I'm closer to 60. That means you helped grow my channel by 73%! I also had a couple of artists join my Discord to post their own creations, which I love, and I welcome all my followers to showcase theirs as well! The most memorable streams I had were definitely on Mondays, where I experienced bittersweet and surreal titles for the first time such as Journey, and Star: Child of Light. There's so many heart-wrenching games I previously overlooked, and it'll be great content for future Monday streams.

I'm still figuring out the mid-week schedule days, but I'm absolutely keeping Monday and Saturday night streams. On January's last Saturday, I ended up streaming for over 7 hours instead my usual 3, and had an awesome time making Robin's latest hyper animation, while vibing to some damn good music tracks. It culminated into some amazing interactions with other artists that also followed. If you haven't already, come join the channel here https://www.twitch.tv/pulloffprime. You'll get inside information on unannounced Mugen projects, experience my 1st time plays, and behold an ever-growing community of artists and gaming enthusiasts!

Future Objectives

I've got new plans for this website with its growing visitors! Besides Robin and a possible new character later this year, I want to add one or two more sections to the home page. One would be a tutorial section with short videos. I failed to keep my last tutorial series short when I made a Mugen tutorial on YouTube, but I'm confident this time around, as I already recorded short videos for this purpose. There's more I haven't revealed, but the ultimate goal for the website is to provide a nice, short visit while you're here, but if you want more to interact with, that's also an option for you.

Although my number one goal for the year is to reach Twitch Affiliate, I need to complete one more difficult but doable requirement to achieve it. Secondly, I need to make a couple of long animations I have in mind for new Twitch followers and subs. Thirdly, I plan to add more side content to the website. The fourth and easiest task is to make another Mugen stage. Fifth is to prepare a trailer for my unannounced Mugen project. The sixth goal, hopefully, is make the next Mugen character. The order of these will probably shift between priority, but I'm looking forward to this year.

One More Mention

For those unaware, Jusmugen's videos on Youtube cover all the latest Mugen content from the previous month, which personally, always excites me to work on my Mugen projects, even if I'm feeling burned out. Since Jusmugen gave me a shoutout on their Discord and gained me a couple more Twitch followers, I don't mind returning the favor by hosting Robin on their site before the others. My latest stage and The Boy Wonder also just debuted on their latest video. Here's to the Jusmugen guys and their supporters, and especially to all my supporters! You're all the absolute greatest. Let's make this year one to remember!
