Happy New Year 2025

Writer's picture: PulloffPulloff

Unlike last month's blog, a LOT has happened for me to blog about this time around, so strap in. It's 2 times the paragraphs, and I haven't even covered everything.

Starting up, I made a brand new Mugen Stage from scratch, coming from the game, The Dishwasher 2: Vampire Smile, developed by Ska Studios. They're the ones who later made Salt & Sanctuary, but those games aren't nearly as good as their first two, Dishwasher Dead Samurai and Vampire Smile. Anyway, You can grab the new stage in the stages section of this website, here: https://crashmind.wixsite.com/mugenbangers/stages.

I also updated the stage I made, "Arena of the Final Aeon" and removed the character, Jecht, standing frozen in the middle of the stage, a much needed adjustment. In addition, the snapshots in the stages section now have animated previews instead of still images. I'd like to make more unique stages in the future since my stages section only had two stages for the longest time. I also joined the site NewAgeMugen and released all of my content there, but you can still download the latest version of all my content the usual way.

Streaming Notice: My streaming schedule has largely shifted. I now stream Monday through Friday from 5pm pacific and 8pm eastern. I only need 8 more followers to hit affiliate, so come and follow me at https://www.twitch.tv/pulloffprime. I stream character and stage creation, animation and video games like Mass Effect, Zelda, and World War Z. If you're curious to what I look like in real life, you'll now be able to see how I look on Twitch.

Last week, I was requested to showcase on Twitch by two Mugen Developers, Oldgamer and Vogel, their unreleased Mugen games. Oldgamer's showcase was an Ikemen Go screenpack, called "Retro Blast Mugen." The pack provides very cool music, a large roster size and slick neon visuals. Plus, if you're looking for a nice screenpack with A.I. generated, full sized stages, I'd check this one out. Normally, I don't care about screenpacks, but I was relatively impressed with this one. You'll be able to download it on their website https://jusmugen.forumotion.com/ starting Janurary 1st 2025.

The other Mugen game was made by Vogel, a currently, retired, stage creator for mugen that focuses mostly on jus content. It will remain a private build, as he never finished it before retiring. I really got my ass handed to me because I'm inexperienced with jus gameplay, but it was still pretty fun and even consisted of a lot of different visual filters. I didn't even know Mugen supported filters, so that was pretty trippy. I think I spent the first 5 to 10 minutes alone, just going through all the filters. Very cool and colorful build Vogel!

By the way, if any of my Twitch followers want me to also showcase their Mugen or Ikemen Go content, go ahead and request it through Discord Channel linked below.
